I ranked these stories based off of my experience of witnessing these events that were later written about.

Number 3 is high on the list because North Carolina is my favorite NCAA basketball team that played in the championship game which led to a buzzer beater unfortunately it was against them.

Number 2 is the retirement of my favorite football player wide receiver of the Detroit Lions who is also a role model to me on and off the field.

Number 1 is Kobe Bryant scoring 60 points in a come back game and wining against the jazz in the last game of the season for the Lakers and the Bryant, this is number 1 because he is my 2nd favorite basketball player of all time and he made history that night of his last game.

Windsor woman faces 14 animal cruelty charges

A Windsor woman is facing a slew of animal cruelty charges after the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society rescued seven shih tzu-type dogs from a suspected puppy mill and took in another seven more that were abandoned.
Humane society officers charged the woman on Saturday with 14 counts of permitting distress to an animal under the Ontario SPCA Act. Each count carries a possible two years in jail or a $60,000 fine.
Seven of the rescued dogs were discovered in filthy conditions at the woman’s Bonita Avenue home last weekend while the other seven were found abandoned at other locations in Windsor and Tecumseh. All 14 remain in the care of the humane society while one dog, which was abandoned by the owner, is still missing.
The rescued dogs will be available for adoption when they have fully recovered, the humane society said.

My Thoughts

I cant believe they haven't given this woman's name out. She did a horrible thing to these dogs. They released the name of the guy who taped the dogs mouth shut and left it to die. She should be publicly humiliated. She knew what she was doing to these dogs. She was breeding them for money. She abandoned them at different locations all over the city because she knew she was in trouble. she may not have been mentally well but she knew what she was doing was wrong. She should be publicly shamed I think.
